Dr. Abby Thrasher Hurst

Dr. Thrasher has loved animals for as long as she can remember, so becoming a veterinarian was truly a dream come true. Originally from Danielsville, GA, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Her professional passions include nutrition, soft tissue surgery, and finding new ways to strengthen the special bond between people and their pets.

Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building lasting relationships with the families who love them. She strives to create a calm, friendly environment where pets feel safe and owners feel supported.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Thrasher is a big Disney fan, enjoys cheering on college football, diving into a good book, and building intricate Lego creations. She loves spending time with her husband and going on walks with their Golden Retriever and Pit Bull mix.
